Simple Hummus Smoothie for The UltraSimple Diet

This simple "hummus smoothie" recipe covers four dinner portions of protein for The UltraSimple Diet.

  1. Squeeze the juice of half of a lemon into a cup.
  2. Remove any lemon seeds from the cup.
  3. Pour the lemon juice into a blender.
  4. Open the 29oz can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas).
  5. Add half of the beans including its sauce into the blender.
  6. Add two tablespoons of olive oil into the blender.
  7. Add one teaspoon of sea salt into the blender.
  8. Blend the ingredients at the lowest setting.
  9. Pour out the contents into two containers, with each container holding half of the smoothie.
  10. Repeat steps 1 through 9.
You now have four containers of hummus smoothie. Drink one for dinner, and put the rest in the refrigerator for drinking the next three nights.
